A. Rugged, Motorized Piston Valve. No cheap plastic here. Bring on the iron, manganese, scale, corrosion, hard water. This Fleck valve just keeps on performing year after trouble free year. Handles water pressure up to 125 psi. Every cycle can be programmed to fit your exact water condition. Thrifty on salt and water, using as little as 24 gallons per regeneration. Can handle 85 pts of hardness plus up to 5 pts of iron.
B. Convenient Guest Switch. Provides an extra supply of soft water whenever you wish. Having people over for the weekend or holiday? Just turn the switch.
C. Attractive, Decorator Jacket. Compliments and matches the protective cover for the control. Almond color goes with any décor. Decorator jacket is insulated to help prevent messy condensation.
D. Fiberglass Reinforced Mineral Tank. No rust or corrosion possible.
E. Resin. Uniform particle size reduces attrition and chemically stable to insure high capacity (more soft water) and long life.
F. Self Adjusting Base. Water conditioner is more efficient when the vertical base design can compensate for unlevel floors.

We will call you each year and change the filter for you so you don’t have to worry about it. We only charge you for the cost of the filter and not a service call fee on top of that. - Pre-Filter Service
We offer a special service that more and more customers were requesting. We can come and change the pre-filter for you (bleach the system if needed), put salt in the softener (that you have delivered), check out the system to make sure the time is correct and everything is running correctly at a minimal cost to you. We can do this once a month or every other month depending on your household needs.
- Whole House Filters and Drinking Filters
A “whole house filter” is plumbed in after the Bill Miller and Family water softener conditioning system. The “whole house filter” is like having a Reverse Osmosis (R/O) system but it gives you great tasting drinking water to “EVERY” faucet in the house, not just one or two. There is no water run off or constant drip to a drain with our whole house filter.
This whole house filter housing is manufactured of reinforced polypropylene. The thread closure allows for years of cartridge change outs without failure. The thick walls and multiple rib design makes the whole house filter ideal for this application. The clean look makes them preferred in residential and commercial uses. This unit has a pressure relief bleed button on the inlet side of the cap. The pressure relief mechanism is constructed of a stainless steel spring and screw, gasket and polypropylene red button.
NOTE: We use a high tech carbon filter so it only needs to be changed once a year. We will call you each year and change the filter for you so you don’t have to worry about it. We only charge you for the cost of the filter and not a service call fee on top of that.

- We recommend using only Solar Salt which comes in a blue bag. It is a man made salt and it is a much cleaner salt. It doesn’t mush up in the bottom of the brine tank like other salt tends to do and most of the time it is cheaper to buy.

- S-1 Pre-Filters:
- We recommend using an S-1 paper accordion filter in the pre-filter before the water softener and the iron filter. The S-1 filter does not slow down your water pressure and it will catch particles that the well might be pumping up which will help safe the water softener or iron filter so it will last even longer. The S-1 filter is usually the cheapest filter when you are looking for them in the store.
Whole house arsenic systems (Point-of-Entry, or POE) are comprehensive water treatment units installed where water enters the home, designed to reduce Arsenic III and V to safe levels (under 2–10 ppb) for all taps, showers, and appliances. These systems typically use adsorption media, such as iron-oxide or activated alumina, to filter arsenic from all water used for cooking, cleaning, and bathing.

A pre-filter that is plumbed in before the Bill Miller and Family water softener and/or iron filter helps to protect the systems from damage (sand or scale) that your well might be producing. This standard pre-filter housing is manufactured of reinforced polypropylene. The leak proof seal is accomplished by the cap compression against the top seated O-Ring in the sump. The thread closure allows for years of cartridge change outs without failure. The thick walls and multiple rib design make these pre-filter housings ideal for any application. The clean look and light weight design also makes them preferred in residential and commercial uses. The pre-filter polypropylene construction has excellent chemical resistance for use with most acids, alcohols, ammonias, oils, plating solutions, beverages and water. This unit has a pressure relief bleed button on the inlet side of the cap. The pressure relief mechanism is constructed of a stainless steel spring and screw, gasket and polypropylene red button.
NOTE: Actual maximum flow rates vs. pressure drop will be determined based on the cartridge selections and fluid viscosity. We recommend the S-1 paper accordion filter.

Recomendations
The Iron Filter is only used if you have too much iron coming into your house or business and the water softener conditioner can not handle it. The Bill Miller and Family Iron Filter is a chem free so there is no potassium (poison) used to clean the mineral bed. We put a pre-filter in front of the iron filter so you are able to clean out the mineral bed if it is needed. The pre-filter is free to you when we install the iron filter.
